What is a Varicocele?
A varicocele is an abnormal enlargement of the veins in the scrotum, similar to varicose veins that occur in the legs. This condition can cause discomfort, pain, and even lead to infertility in men. Causes of Varicocele

Diagnosis of Varicocele

During the exam, your doctor may ask you to stand, take a deep breath, and hold it while bearing down (this is known as the Valsalva maneuver), which can make a varicocele easier to detect. In some cases, an ultrasound might be used to provide a more detailed image of the veins in the scrotum.
